Mines of Moria - Lord of the Rings

I finished my Mines of Moria piece from Lord of the Rings. This was a special piece for me to attempt...
One of the things that first planted the seed of being an artist was watching the appendices from Lord of the Rings extended edition. I was so enthralled watching artists and sculptures from wetaworkshop that I think I watched every special features disc in one day. I also watched them again while working away at this artwork. That they are from our region of the world I think was also significant. Seeing what was being accomplished so close to home made me think it was maybe possible for someone like me.
